C & S Processing offer Iridite NCP coating
for aluminium substrates.
Iridite
NCP:
Iridite NCP is approved to US Mil-DTL-5541 Class
3, Form 1, Methods B & C and is typically favoured
as a replacement for Alocrom 1000 due to its RoHS & WEEE
compliance.
Iridite
NCP offers corrosion protection that rivals conventional
chromate conversion coatings when tested in accordance
with ASTM B 117, and provides
an excellent base for primer or paint, or for other organic
treatments when tested in accordance with ASTM D 3359.
We
use the MacDermid Iridite NCP process which offers an
environmentally safe, chrome-free
passivation treatment designed specifically for
aluminium alloys. It applies a highly corrosion-resistant conversion
coating ideally suited to be painted or left as a stand-alone corrosion resistant barrier.
