Alocrom
1200:
Alocrom 1200 produces a golden chromate coating with good
electrical conductivity and excellent corrosion resistance.
Alocrom coatings should be painted for exterior use.
Ideal for use in electrical & electronic applications.
Alocrom
1000: Alocrom 1000 imparts a light
chromate conversion to aluminium and its alloys without
significantly changing the apearance of the metal.
It is normally specified where corrosion resistance
with a high level of conductivity is required from
the aluminium surface or the aluminium is to be subsequently
lacquered requiring a uniform metallic appearance.
It is approved to US Mil-C-5541/QPL-C-81706 Class 3,
Form 1, Methods B & C as Alodine 1500 and by major
aircraft manufacturers.
